The Opportunity:
The Manager of Adult Protective Services (APS) provides leadership and oversight of the Adult Protective Services (APS) program in a fastpaced environment. The APS program is an essential component of North Central Health Cares services to the most vulnerable members of our communities in Marathon Lincoln and Langlade Counties. Core components of the program serve as safeguards to elders at risk and adults with disabilities. The Manager ensures that quality person centered care is provided through supervision of staff and adherence of program policies/procedures to applicable regulations. The Manager works collaboratively with all NCHC behavioral health programs including Community Treatment and Acute Care Services and NCHC nursing homes and partners routinely with Corporation Counsel office and community organizations.
The pay range for this role is $82000 to $89500 based on education and experience. This job is a fulltime in person position.

What Youll Do:
- Responsible for the overall management and leadership of the Adult Protective Services program.
- Recruits hires and trains new APS employees.
- Provides guidance consultation and support to APS staff in case assessments and evaluations.
- Oversees the development and updating of the programs written procedures and operating guidelines.
- Ensures that elements of the program meet statutory standards guidelines and requirements and follow social work best practice standards.
- Collaboratively works with APS team and client interdisciplinary teams formulating recommendations for services and supports for clients.
- Liaison to Counties or other governmental or other thirdparty representatives to ensure that the program is complying with all contractual judicial and regulatory requirements. Responds to program complaints and provides APS perspective and guidance on complex situations.
- Ensures access to appropriate physicians psychologists nursing home and other health care personnel in client evaluation and treatment.
- Proactively works with APS staff to identify protective and emergency placement resources.
- Utilizes knowledge base of clients rights and need to protect in making assessments/determinations of least restrictiveness for court recommendations.
- Ensures attention to clients right to selfdetermination as appropriate based on their cognitive abilities.
- Maintains required case records reports and statistics in a timely and complete manner.
- Manages the Elder Abuse Grant included but not limited to coordinating annual applications and reporting.
- Maintains and coordinates interdisciplinary Adult at Risk Team activities.
- Coordinates community education and awareness of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
- Provides requested training to NCHC staff on protective placements emergency placements and Protective Services in general.
- Manages the programs annual budget.
- Manages staff performance
- Collaborates with other NCHC departments
What You Bring:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work or Human Services field earned from an accredited fouryear college or university academic program.
- Three or more years work experience in the Human Services field.
- Valid Wisconsin drivers license and appropriate auto insurance coverage as required by North Central Health Care.
- Must have the use of a personal vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications Skills Education Licenses Certifications and Requirements:
- Five or more years work experience in the Human Services Field
- Three or more years managerial or supervisory experience
- Current Wisconsin Social Work license or certification
