Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager (Level K) to join our team located in San Antonio Texas.
You will manage a group of employees engaged in various manufacturing disciplines ensuring efficient operations and high quality production. If you are passionate about fostering a collaborative work environment and driving continuous improvement we want to hear from you!
Position Responsibilities:
Manages and leads employees performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships/partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes
Manages develops coaches and motivates team members
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support
3 years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
Ability to optimize organizational structure and operating rhythm to meet strategic goals
Willingness and ability to work any shift based on business needs
Must have a valid U.S. drivers license
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Demonstrate commitment to safety and Incident & Injury Free principles
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
3 years of experience leading initiatives/projects to meet business objectives
Experience influencing positive change
Experience working with/leading contracted service providers

Shift:
This position is variable shift meaning you will be placed on 1st 2nd or 3rd shift at time of hire based on business needs. Willingness and ability to work any shift is required.
