Reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager the Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of incoming and outgoing materials and products within our manufacturing operations. Located onsite at our Wood Dale IL facility this role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of quality that meet internal industry and customer expectations.
In this role a typical day will look like:
Inspect and approve incoming materials inprocess components and finished products.
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and perform Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
Utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) micrometers and other tools to verify product conformance.
Document inspection results manage inspection logs and escalate issues to internal teams.
Support quality audits in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Collaborate crossfunctionally with Quality Engineering Procurement and Manufacturing teams to address product and process concerns.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associate degree in Quality or equivalent work experience; Technical degree preferred.
25 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using CMM micrometers calipers and interpreting technical blueprints.
Knowledge of FAI PPAP and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook Excel Word and PowerPoint; Oracle experience is a plus.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associates position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $25.00 $27.00 USD per job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
