Summary:

The Event Dcor Setup Partner is responsible for assisting in setting up and installing event dcor elements at Rock City Gardens. This role involves physical tasks related to lifting arranging and assembling dcor items to ensure the seamless execution of events. Under the direction of the Art Manager the Event Dcor Setup Partner is responsible for performing the following duties:


Responsibilities:

  • Delivers excellent guest service to internal and external customers in line with the organizations mission culture and values.
  • Models appropriate guest and partner interaction at all times.
  • Assists in the physical setup and installation of event dcor elements including but not limited to furniture props backdrops lights and other decorative items.
  • Follows design plans and instructions the Innovation team provides to create visually appealing setups.
  • Handles dcor items with care to prevent damage during transportation and setup.
  • Helps assemble and arrange dcor items according to the specified layout and design concepts.
  • Collaborates with the Innovation team members to ensure all elements are properly placed and aligned.
  • Reports any issues or damages to the Art Manager or relevant team member for prompt resolution.
  • Assists in logistical tasks related to event dcor such as loading and unloading materials organizing storage and maintaining inventory.
  • Follows established timelines to ensure timely completion of setup tasks.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in decoration Installation and removal or related field or willingness to receive training.
  • Possess a kind personality the desire to contribute to a great team and a willingness to learn or improve skills.
  • Ability to display a professional engaging and polite image to guests and team partners.
  • Ability to speak effectively in oneonone and small group situations knowing that your feedback and input are important to the team.
  • Ability to work effectively with a team in a fastpaced efficient environment.
  • Ability to read and understand operational documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to replicate design plans accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet setup deadlines.
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Ability to provide a flexible schedule to work nights weekends holidays and special events as needed.
  • Required to use hands and fingers regularly. Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Requires frequent walking stooping kneeling or crouching. Must be able to stand regularly.
