You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe CDHS Office of Civil and Forensic Mental Healths Transitional Living Homes Program was created to increase bed capacity for persons in need of residential behavioral health treatment. House Bill (HB) 221303 has authorized new beds to be used for persons needing residential services at a less restrictive level of care and to reduce and eliminate the backlog of such persons in more restrictive settings. HB 221303 directs the Department of human services (department) and the Department of health care and Policy Financing to create develop or contract to add at least 125 additional beds at mental health residential treatment facilities (treatment facilities) throughout the state for adults in need of ongoing supportive services. The bill also requires that the department renovate a building at the mental health hospital at Fort Logan to create at least 16 additional civil beds for such persons. These beds serve as a stepdown option from inpatient care and as a stepup when deemed medically necessary and lowerlevel of care settings can no longer adequately and safely provide effective care.
About the Position:
This position exists to conduct followup regarding grievances investigate incident reports accordingly review and analyze data and share with the MHTL Homes team for collaborative discussions and to provide an analytical and evaluative perspective regarding data. The Compliance Specialist is responsible for implementing the MHTL Homes established process and operation of the grievance resolution process and moderates the process through problem solving and making recommendations to improve response. Minimum Qualifications:
Six (6) yearsof relevant experiencewith at least 1 year of experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory affairs within a mental health or healthcare environment
OR
A combination of related education in Health or human/ social services and experience in healthcare compliance and regulatory affairs within a mental health or healthcare environment
equal to six (6) years.
