The Academic Support Specialist will support admissions and student academic advising in the Program. The responsibilities include reviewing admission applications academic advising supporting retention efforts monitoring student progress overseeing selected courses in the online program and communicating with faculty and students. We are interested in qualified candidates who can contribute to diversity equity and inclusion through this role and are passionate about educating future library professionals. The Academic Support Specialist in the Program will work collaboratively with the Department Chair Program Manager LIS faculty and the programs Administrative Services Coordinator. This position reports to the Chair of the Research Methods and Information Science Department.
This is a nonbenefited position not to exceed 1000 hours in a calendar year.

Hourly Range
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 $29.00.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting.
