The Intervention Specialist will provide specially designed instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). The specialist will collaborate with general education teachers parents and related service personnel to ensure students have access to and make progress in the general education curriculum. This position is critical to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all Responsibilities:Develop implement and monitor IEPs in compliance with federal state and local direct instruction to students in resource cotaught and/or selfcontained classroom datadriven methods to assess student progress and adjust instruction with general education teachers to modify curriculum and classroom academic and behavioral assessments and participate in multitiered systems of support (MTSS).Serve as case manager for assigned students and maintain accurate and timely regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress concerns and in IEP meetings parent conferences and professional development positive behavior intervention strategies and promote socialemotional to district policies and the Ohio Operating Standards for the Education of Children with :Valid Ohio teaching license as an Intervention Specialist (Mild/Moderate Moderate/Intensive or other appropriate area).Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred).Knowledge of IDEA Section 504 and related federal/state with evidencebased instructional strategies and assistive organizational communication and collaboration working with diverse learners in inclusive and/or specialized settings preferred.
