Job Description
Senior Software Engineer (DST Pharmacy Solutions Inc. Kansas City MO): Specific responsibilities include: Designing and implementing applications and services supporting our health plan and pharmacy benefit management customers. Utilizing CI/CD Docker and Kubernetes to deliver application solutions. Implementing industrywide best practices around microservices development. Building common components for reuse across the organization maintaining documentation demo applications and reviewing pull requests. Evolving our development ecosystem by exploring and prototyping new ways of meeting our business needs. Using current programming language and technologies write code complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications. Designing and implementing applications using Java Spring boot Hibernate/JPA XML JavaScript RDBMS and various Design Patterns. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related technical field plus 6 years of application development experience.
Must have: 4 years of experience designing and developing microservices using spring framework and multitenant databases. 4 years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React or ). 5 years of experience in writing HTTP services in higherlevel languages (e.g. Java/Spring Go). 4 years of experience with relational and document databases (e.g. PostgreSQL DB2 and Oracle). 4 years of experience learning new opensource software APIs and frameworks. 5 years of experience with objectoriented and cloud native design. 4 years of experience with modern CI/CD pipelines bash Git and Jira. Familiarity with SAFe agile methodologies.
