OPS NonExempt
Job Duties are as follows:
- Assist Research Regulatory Specialist in Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval functions including creation of approval letters
- Maintains verbal and written communication with Principal Investigators regarding the status of pending protocols and review
- Assist in problem solving issues with study teams where feasible
- Acts as Liaison between reviewers and principal investigators
- Answer phones/emails/Salesforce
- Generates correspondence regarding research protocols.
- Evaluating IRB proposals
- Other duties as assigned
$15.00 $18.00 per hour; Commensurate with education and experience
A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- BA/BS
- Prioritizing varying workload
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Tact in dealing with people
- Knowledge of UF IRB policy and procedures helpful
This is not a remote work position and it is located on the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville FL.
