Job Description

RieLes Group we are seeking a Psychotherapist to provide onsite support to the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) team at Charlotte NC. The North Carolina National Guard Integrated Behavioral Health System (IBHS) is a statewide program that provides comprehensive mental health services to service members and their families including those based in Charlotte NC. The team in Charlotte consists of licensed clinicians who offer a range of support services such as 24/7 crisis intervention clinical assessments individual and family therapy and referrals to community resources. Services are free confidential and available regardless of duty status or ability to pay. The IBHS is part of the Psychological Services Section (PSS) and is led by Director Stephanie Nissen. While specific team member names in Charlotte are not publicly listed the IBHS maintains a strong presence in the area.

Job Posting: Charlotte NC Psychotherapist
Location: Charlotte North Carolina 28208
Fulltime onsite position
The Period of Performance shall be one Base Year of 12 months and three 12month option years

Overview: Support the behavioral health needs of the Charlotte Guard community. This role includes clinical assessment treatment and care coordination services under the IBHS framework

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic evaluations and therapy
  • Coordinate services with care providers and Guard staff
  • Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and confidentiality standards

Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in counseling social work psychology or behavioral health discipline
  • 3 years postlicensure clinical experience in behavioral health individual couple family mental health and domestic/workplace violence counseling services psychopathology and psychosocial dynamics
  • Licensed to practice independently in NC
  • Knowledge of traumainformed care and military culture is preferred
