Job Description
Position Overview & Responsibilities
The OMRF Research Caf offers a convenient and welcoming space for employees and visitors to enjoy meals snacks and drinks throughout the workday. Were looking for a team player who thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment brings a friendly and customerfocused attitude and takes pride in being efficient reliable and detailoriented. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Preparing hot and cold food including efficiently working the grill and charbroil station
Performing detailed and general cleaning to maintain a safe sanitary workspace
Setting up and breaking down events held onsite
Caring for and maintaining nonfood inventory supplies and equipment
Stocking supplies running the cash register and washing dishes as needed
Assisting with menu planning including daily and weekly specials
Always maintaining a welcoming and customer serviceoriented attitude
Completing additional tasks assigned by the supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen skills.
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Must be detailoriented able to multitask follow instructions take initiative and work without supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and customers.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma GED or equivalent preferred
A valid OKC Certified Food Service Operator Certificate is a plus
2 years of backofhouse or kitchen experience required
Work Hours
Typically Monday through Friday 7AM to 3PM.
Physical Demands
This job will require some lifting (up to 50 lbs.). Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
