Job Description
The company is a privately held contract manufacturing firm of composite material to the industrial electronics aerospace and defense industries. Financially stable with a strong growth trajectory that can offer a good worklife balance for the right professional. This is an onsite position in the Augusta GA area and will report to the CEO.
A qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Safety Industrial Engineering or related field; Masters preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management and environmental sustainability in manufacturing.
- Experience with Title V Air Emissions permits and compliance reporting.
- Preferred experience overseeing an onsite wastewater treatment facility.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or sustainability (e.g. LEED ISO 14001) preferred.
- Strong leadership analytical and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
- Proficient in safety management software sustainability reporting tools and MS Office.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety codes.
- Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
