Description

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Contracts Manager position.
Nashville General Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the development negotiation execution and management of a wide range of commercial and government contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract law exceptional negotiation skills and a strategic mindset to minimize risk and ensure compliance across all contractual obligations. The Contracts Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with current policies and procedures and minimizing contractual risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft review and negotiate contracts (BAAs NDAs MSAs SOWs PEAs leases procurement and government agreements)
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle: creation renewal modification and termination
  • Ensure compliance with FAR DFARS healthcare laws and internal policies
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with legal finance procurement and operations teams
  • Maintain contract databases (e.g. Intelligent Contracts) and policy systems (PolicyStat)
  • Support managed care contracting (Medicare Medicaid Commercial ValueBased)
  • Assist with audits RFPs/RFQs and documentation
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure accurate data entry

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in business Law or related field (JD preferred)
  • 710 years of healthcare or hospital contract management experience
  • Strong knowledge of contract law FAR/DFARS and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in contract tools and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent negotiation organizational and communication skills
  • Selfmotivated with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Certifications:

  • CCCM CPCM Federal Contracts Manager Certification or Paralegal (Contract Law)
