In this role youll drive the design and implementation of cuttingedge DevSecOps pipelines accelerating growth and embracing a testdriven software development approach!
What You Will Do
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement efficient DevSecOps pipelines tailored to Electric Power Systems software development driving innovation and streamlining processes.
Develop automated testing continuous integration and continuous delivery processes to enhance efficiency and accelerate software development cycles.
Architect implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines shaping the future of software delivery.
Select configure and integrate tools to enhance software development flow optimizing productivity and performance.
Work closely with the Power & Controls DevOps Manager and the Enterprise Digital Product Life Cycle (DPLC) team to understand and adapt DevOps practices ensuring alignment with the specific needs of Electric Systems programs and driving continuous improvement.
Provide DevSecOps implementation expertise to assist Electric Power Systems software teams in adopting DevSecOps tools and best practices.
Enable development teams to automate artifact generation and effectively manage product lifecycles promoting efficiency and quality.
Automate software releases while ensuring quality cybersecurity and safety requirements are met driving excellence in software delivery.
Drive behavioral and testdriven development practices to enhance software design implementation and test automation fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Design develop and maintain dashboards that display DevSecOps metrics performance measures and indicators of continuous improvement enabling datadriven decisionmaking and success in Power & Controls embedded software development.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related technical field.
3 years of handson experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation tools (e.g. GitLab CI Azure DevOps or similar).
Strong knowledge of containerization orchestration and security practices in DevSecOps environments.
Experience working in aerospace defense or medical devices with a focus on secure software development and compliance standards
