Job Description:

Microchips Frequency & Time Systems (FTS) division is a global leader in precise timekeeping and synchronization technologies. We develop and deliver advanced timing solutionsincluding atomic clocks and time serversthat power missioncritical systems in telecom aerospace & defense wireless infrastructure IT and beyond.
Were currently seeking a handson and strategic Manager Manufacturing Engineering to join our growing Boulder CO team. If youre passionate about continuous improvement team leadership and highreliability electronics wed love to hear from you.
What Youll Do
As the Manager Manufacturing Engineering youll lead a highperforming team focused on developing and sustaining test and manufacturing processes. Youll drive operational excellence across the product lifecyclefrom new product introduction through to fullscale production.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting manufacturing test and integration processes.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with Quality R&D Planning and Supply Chain to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and datadriven methodologies.
- Oversee test equipment validation production workflows and product lifecycle transitions.
- Ensure ontime delivery quality compliance and a safe efficient manufacturing environment.
- Guide technical documentation training programs and standardized work procedures.
- Develop team goals and individual development plans; foster a strong collaborative culture.
What Youll Bring
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or Manufacturing) and 12 years of experience or equivalent education and experience in lieu of degree
- Proficiency in LabVIEW and Python
- Experience designing test hardware interfaces
- Proven leadership in process improvement root cause analysis and corrective action
- Handson experience with manufacturing and testing of electromechanical systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems and managing BOMs routings and production costs
- Strong communication project management and team development skills
Preferred Experience:
- IPC 610 Class 3 / JSTD001 workmanship standards
- Soldering SMT/thruhole assembly box build cables and rework
- RF microwave or timing system knowledge
- Experience introducing new products into manufacturing (NPI)
- Understanding of GD&T and general mechanical fabrication processes
Physical Requirements
This role involves regular use of hands extended computer use standing walking and lifting up to 30 lbs. Vision requirements include close and color vision for reviewing detailed graphics and schematics.

The annual base salary range for this position which could be performed in Colorado is $90000$232000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
