Job Description
Personnel Source is seeking a RV Glass Technician for our Coburg client in the RV industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform RV windshield repairs and replacements efficiently.
- Cut sand and install flat laminated glass.
- Remove broken glass and related components from frames using hand tools.
- Handle mobile jobs including lifting and transporting ladders scaffolding and large glass pieces.
- Work with Customer Service Specialists to resolve scheduling work orders and part issues.
- Travel to and work at RV rallies and shows as needed.
- Interact directly with RV customers for estimates work orders and repairs.
- Maintain company vehicles and driving record professionally.
PHYSICAL & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand walk and lift 5080 pounds repeatedly during an 8hour shift.
- Physical exertion involves bending stooping pushing twisting lifting and pulling.
- Proficient in operating a variety of hand tools.
- Exposure to moderate heat cold moisture and wet conditions.
- Handle chemicals such as adhesives cleaners solvents and glass primers.
- Adhere to safety guidelines attend training report incidents promptly use ergonomic practices wear required PPE and follow company safety protocols in all JAJ A1 Coach Glass and RV Glass Solutions work areas.
JOB SPECIFICS
- Shift: Monday Friday 7:30am to 4pm.
- Wage:$18.00 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mechanical inclination: body shop or RV service experience preferred.
- Strong customer service interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detailoriented with basic arithmetic skills.
- Clean driving record and ability to obtain a current DOT medical card.
- Availability for occasional weekends or extended hours.
- Pass preemployment drug test and background check.
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined customer service clean MVR DS & BG.
