Job Description
We are recruiting a Field Service Technician in Bakersfield CA on behalf of a nationwide well established rental company. We are looking for a person that will perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of rental equipment. This includes equipment such as: generators air conditioners air cooled chillers diesel engines dehumidifiers and electrical distribution equipment.
Position Offers
- $35/hr$49/hour depending on experience overtime opportunities. If your target pay is higher we still encourage you to applywe could request adjustments based on experience and market conditions

Job Duties
- Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical electrical hydraulic gas and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment
- Perform load bank tests and major/minor PMs
- Diagnose and repair all equipment in the rental fleet without supervision utilizing schematics and diagnostic programs
- When required travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
- Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment & parts
