Job Description

This role is essential in ensuring that our service guests receive topnotch care not only with safe and efficient transportation but also through your attention to detail and support in maintaining a welcoming environment at our dealership.

Major Essential Duties:
- Pick up and redeliver customer cars for any service guests as needed.
- Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
- Coordinate all routes with the Service Managers to ensure all customers are taken care of in a timely manner.
- Ensures to check for any damage on customer cars before and after delivery.
- Use good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Keeps a timely shuttle/delivery route.
- Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
- Operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
- Assured that shuttle SUV is properly maintained. Notify service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require such as oil changes tires cleaning and general maintenance.
- Ensures that customer vehicles are clean and ready to be returned with no warning lights illuminated.
- Maintain accurate and detailed trip records.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer relations.
- Follow all quality control processes and procedures.
- Work with the customer relations manager to ensure all items are ordered and stocked.
- Ensure service lounge is clean and organized.
- Store away supply orders when they arrive.
- Must wear a dealership provided uniform maintaining a professional personal appearance.
- Maintain a safe driving record.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Driving Experience: Previous experience in driving and delivery roles preferred
- Clean Driving Record: A history free of major traffic violations or accidents.
- Knowledge of Local Routes: Familiarity with the delivery area including streets traffic patterns and shortcuts.
- Time Management Skills: Ability to plan routes efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
- Customer Service Skills: Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate deliveries and proper handling of goods.
- Dependability: A strong work ethic and reliability to show up on time and complete tasks.
- Must exhibit a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information and have good verbal communication skills.
