Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP one of the worlds leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce law and government across North America Asia Europe and the Middle East is seeking to hire a Docket Specialist to join our Intellectual Property Patent Support Unit (PATSU). Under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Patent Support Services and the Docket Supervisor the Docket Specialist will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all areas of the patent computerized docket system. The Docket Specialist will also have daily contact with and receive guidance from the practice group lawyers and staff they support.

This position can reside in either of the following locations: San Francisco Silicon Valley (Palo Alto) Orange County Century City Los Angeles Seattle Houston Boston Philadelphia Chicago Washington D.C. with a hybrid inoffice/remote working schedule. Flexibility to work overtime is preferred.
Coordinates all areas of the CPI database including:
All information pertaining to each specific application and docket due dates and remarks.
Incoming domestic and foreign client related communications.
Incoming Patent and Trademark Office communications filed in the Patent Office.
Processing delivery of incoming electronic communications pursuant to departmental procedures.
Providing docket status and maintenance reports to patent personnel and lawyers.
Experience and qualifications:
35 years of foreign patent docketing experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Outlook and Excel)
Excellent written and oral communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
Timemanagement and organizational skills to prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure in a collaborative team environment

For positions in Century City Orange County CA and Washington D.C. the salary range for this job positing is: $62000.00 $99200.00.
For positions in Chicago IL the salary range for this job posting is: $59300.00 $94850.00.
For positions in Los Angeles San Francisco and Silicon Valley CA and Seattle WA the salary range for this job posting is: $64700.00 $103475.00.
The base salary wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to prior experience relevant expertise current business needs and market factors. Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally salary wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position will also include eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans and policies then in effect eligible employees may enroll in: a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Companysponsored medical dental vision life disability accidental death and dismemberment business travel accident insurance plans and health savings and flexible spending accounts for the employee and the employees eligible dependents. Eligible employees may also take up to five days off for bereavement leave up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave per year and up to 10 weeks of paid pregnancy disability leave per pregnancy.
