Job Description
Position:Teaching Assistant (3 positions)Location:Woodland Elementary School Schedule:School Year Hours 8:15 2:45Salary: Per Contract $18.54 $24.19/hour based on experience & certificationTo Start:August 25 2025Qualifications:Bachelors Degree preferred;Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement preferred;Experience working with students with and without disabilities;Demonstrate the ability to assist in the inclusion and/or Special Education classroom;Experience working with English Language LearnersBilingual preferredCPI training preferredResponsibilities:Work under the supervision of building administration Special Education teachers and classroom teachers;Assist small groups and/or individual students with progress toward academic socialemotional and/or behavioral goals within the classroom with guidance provided by the teacher;Communicate and collaborate with teachers; Provide direct instruction in an inclusion classroom or small group setting;Ability to modify curriculum;Maintain confidential information;Collect data on student performance as needed;Assist students with daily living/selfhelp skills;Attend and participate in training opportunities as directed; andPerform supervisory duties as assigned by school administration.
