Business Development Manager Luxury Interior Design

A boutique interior design studio known for creating refined globally inspired spaces is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to help drive thoughtful growth. Based in Seattle this small creative team specializes in highend residential projects and select commercial interiors that prioritize beauty balance and wellness. The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship builder with deep ties in luxury real estate architecture or luxury construction markets and someone who will lead strategic growth for a wellestablished brand. If you bring both a deep local network and a proactive independent approach to cultivating new relationships and want to play a key role in shaping the future of a thriving interior design firm lets talk.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts with a focus on luxury residential and select boutique commercial clients.
  • Build authentic relationships with real estate agents developers architects builders and likeminded creatives.
  • Connect with art collectors gallery owners editors and other cultural tastemakers who influence design decisions in the region.
  • Identify and engage with potential clientsexecutives relocating to Seattle welltraveled homeowners highend builders and hospitality clients.
  • Actively engage with Seattles art and design communityincluding photographers editors artisans and gallery ownersas a natural extension of the brands presence in creative and cultural spaces.
  • Collaborate with marketing to refine a resultsdriven sales strategy; contribute to marketing budget decisions and performance analytics.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador attending networking events and creating visibility with the right clientele and creative collaborators.
  • Contribute ideas for content events and partnerships that bring the right kind of visibility to the firm.
  • Monitor market trends and real estate movement in the Seattle region to align business development efforts with regional demand.
  • Work in tandem with the design team and external marketing agency to ensure brand consistency and effective messaging.

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in business development sales or relationshipbuilding roles within luxury design real estate or construction.
  • Deep knowledge of the Seattlearea market and strong existing network across the design and build community.
  • Comfortable targeting multimilliondollar residential builds major renovations and boutique commercial projects.
  • Strong existing relationships across designadjacent industriesincluding architecture construction real estate and ideally the local art and creative communities.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and cultivate recurring referralbased relationships in the luxury market.
  • Ties to the local art architecture and culture scenesyou naturally move in these circles.
  • Energetic personable and handson. You dont mind rolling up your sleeves or stepping into a strategy session one minute and a client walkthrough the next.
  • Independent and entrepreneurial yet collaborative with internal teams and external partners.
  • Techsavvy with working knowledge of CRM tools sales tracking and digital marketing insights.
