Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading fullservice employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is looking for an experienced Associate IT Project Managertowork through our agency as a contract employee with the Tennessee Department of Health (TN DOH) located in Nashville TN. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pmfor a total of 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $27.00 per hour.
IT Project Manager Job Overview:
The Tennessee Department of Healths Office of Communication & Media Relations is seeking a highly motivated System Associate IT Project Manager to join their team as a web developer with a specialized focus on maintaining and improving accessibility compliance in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and WCAG standards. **MUST BE LOCAL TO THE NASHVILLE AREA POSITION REQUIRES BEING INOFFICE ONE DAY EACH MONTH**
IT Project Manager Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Office of Communication & Media Relations in planning developing implementing and evaluating projects and strategies which meet the overall public communication mission and goals of the Tennessee Department of Health.
- Supporting the Departments Web Administrator in maintaining the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environment component configuration and workflows for the deployment organization and navigation of content on the Departments website.
- Implementing an accessible usercentric online content experience in coordination with the Communication team internal content creators and other stakeholders.
- Monitoring and auditing webpages and digital content for ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA compliance; remediating and documenting issues as needed.
- Function as a liaison with Strategic Technology Solutions STS Business Operations and Department IT staff to support project planning rollout and governance of AEMbased web properties.
- Assisting with tracking and reporting on compliancerelated project milestones metrics and documentation; staying current on accessibility standards and best practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required for IT Project Manager position:
- Bachelors Degree in Communication Information Technology Computer Science Website Design or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 years of experience managing Adobe Experience Manager (Sites Assets).
- Handson experience implementing and maintaining ADA and WCAGcompliant websites.
- Familiarity with web accessibility tools (e.g. Site Improve) and manual accessibility testing techniques.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working as a web developer or web project manager in government higher education or a large public institution environment preferred.
- Adobe AEM certification(s) or equivalent practical experience preferred.
