Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Hospitalist to join a respected and collaborative hospital team in New Haven Connecticut. This is a fulltime permanent inpatient position with a focus on highquality patientcentered care. Recent residency graduates are encouraged to apply.
Job Setting:
Work in a modern fully staffed acute care hospital with 24/7 support from specialists advanced practice providers and nursing teams. The facility features advanced EMR integration diagnostic capabilities and a patientcentered approach to inpatient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient care to patients
Perform daily rounding admissions and discharge planning
Collaborate with specialists case management and nursing to ensure continuity of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements:
MD or DO degree
Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
Strong clinical judgment time management and communication skills
Experience in hospital medicine preferred but not required
