Our Innovation Center is a hub for cuttingedge research and development. We focus on creating innovative solutions and advancing technology through rigorous testing prototyping and material analysis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects.
Position Overview: You will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development activities. You will assist in performing tests creating 3D prints gathering samples and materials and various other tasks around the lab. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This is a full time position throughout the Summer with typical 8am5pm hours MF onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing Tests: Assist in conducting various tests on prototypes materials and products to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
3D Printing: Help in the setup operation and maintenance of 3D printers. Assist in the creation of 3D printed models and prototypes.
Sample and Material Gathering: Collect and prepare samples and materials needed for testing and prototyping. Ensure proper documentation and storage.
Lab Support: Provide general support around the lab including organizing equipment maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Data Collection: Record and analyze data from tests and experiments. Assist in preparing reports and presentations based on findings.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers researchers and other team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
Qualifications and Attributes:
Education: Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program (e.g. Engineering Material Science Chemistry Physics etc.).
Skills: Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with 3D printing technology is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint). Experience with CAD software is desirable.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and organized with a keen eye for detail.
Motivation: Enthusiastic and eager to learn. Ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
