Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Mobility Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) Engineering team is seeking an Associate Wiring Installation Designer in Oklahoma City OK. This position in the Lab organization will be part of the team that Maintains releases and assists in developing electrical/mechanical drawings systems designs or engineering documentation and data to support development and production of Boeing laboratories.
The selected candidate should possess a basic knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering and scientific principles; the ability to apply this knowledge to develop design analyze and validate solutions for wire harness and equipment installation designs
Position Responsibilities:
Works in a team environment using design tools to prepare documentation and incorporate basic design changes
Creates develops and maintains elementary systems designs
Supports the development and maintenance of moderately complex product designs
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors Degree or higher
Course work in CATIA drafting
Experience with CATIA v5
Experience with Enovia
Experience with Part Detail Drawings
Experience with Part Installation Drawings
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with B52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program
Experience with Systems Integration Lab Design
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Shift:
This is a 1st shift position.
