POSITION LAND SURVEYOR/SURVEYOR MANAGER

Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Land Surveyor/Surveyor Manager to join our team in Ohio.
Are you ready to showcase your survey and management skills in a dynamic team setting We are offering a unique opportunity where you can lead survey and engineering projects handle survey calculations create survey plats and develop design/topographic base maps.
As part of this hybrid position you will spend 3 days a week in the office collaborating with a dedicated team. Your responsibilities will involve deed research crafting legal descriptions and processing survey data from our field teams. The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to project sites.
Your role will also encompass receiving and assessing survey assignments processing field data and utilizing CAD for final mapping. The final mapping deliverables may include boundary topographic planimetric or designrelated outputs.
To excel in this role you must have expertise in fieldtofinish survey data processing a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to work. Collaboration is key and you will have the opportunity to engage with cuttingedge technology and advanced software tools.

Role accountabilities:
- Perform QA/QC and technical review of survey deliverables
- Perform surveyrelated calculations using standards established by federal state and local regulations
- Proficient in processing and mapping survey field data
- Possess strong CAD production skills with a keen eye toward quality control and accuracy
- Assist other survey staff and find solutions to both complex and simple problems.
- Interprets engineeringrelated documents and digital files
- Develop geospatial tasks procedures integrating scanning and drone technology into current workflow
- Team with the Business Development group to develop new markets and clients
Qualifications & Experience:
- 12 or more years experience in Surveying including a minimum of 5 years experience in responsible charge of complex fieldtofinish survey deliverables.
- Professional Surveyor license in Ohio
- Knowledge of GPS total stations and digital levels a plus
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with Microstation
- Knowledge in using ArcGIS applications / ESRI

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
