Job Description

Job Title: 3rd Grade ELAR Reports to: Campus PrincipalSalary: Cross Roads ISD Salary Schedule Days: 173 Contract DaysDept./School: Cross Roads ElementaryPrimary Purpose:Provide 3rd grade students with content area lessons that will teach and reinforce 3rd grade Reading and Writing skills while instilling and refining quality character skills that will allow them to be productive citizens of our : Bachelors Degree in Education from an accredited university Must possess a valid Texas teaching certificate Demonstrate competency in core academic subject area assignedGeneral Expectations: Develop lesson plans that are aligned with grade level TEKS Provide appropriate gradelevel curriculum aligned with gradelevel TEKS. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the learning styles of students Track and evaluate student progress Ability to establish and maintain a wellmanaged riskfree and nurturing classroom environment Consistent communication with parents about academic concerns and behavior Ability to work effectively and maintain positive relationships with administrators colleagues office staff students parents and community Continuous growth and development in gradelevel content area Desire to seek advice when needed to make informed decisions Attend meeting conferences and professional development trainings as required Model and instruct positive character traits Arrive ontime to school and assigned dutiesApplication and background check form can be found at send resume application and background check form to
