Role accountabilities:
In this role you will assist the development of environmental remedial systems and insitu technology treatment designs and assessments including detailed design drawings technical specifications and design calculations and assist with the development of Remedial Investigations Feasibility Studies and Remedial Designs; this includes the coordination of figure generation data management work plans and/or other required supporting documents.
This role will require field work about 25% of the time.
Field work responsibilities will include:
- Perform remedial system operation and maintenance (O&M) and monitoring. Assist in preparation of O&M reports
- Prepare subcontracts and oversee the work of subcontractors
- Coordinate field activities which may include contractor/vendor oversight for site characterization soil sampling and/or groundwater/remediation well installation and construction groundwater sampling and excavation oversight
- Startup activities for treatment systems
- Be a leader who can provide mentoring and training junior engineers as well
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Chemical Mechanical or Civil Engineering or closely related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience
- EngineerInTraining certification or Professional Engineering license
- 40hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and appropriate annual refresher certifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Environmental Chemical Mechanical or Civil Engineering or closely related field
