What you bring to SBHG:
Bachelors degree in child counseling development or psychology or related social science field or nursing license (LVN LPT RN). OR
Six (6) or more years of QA experience in a Mental Health Agency or County Behavioral Health Program will be substituted as equivalent to a bachelors degree.
One (1) year residential care experience or equivalent inpatient psychiatric experience required.
One (1) year quality assurance experience required.
Valid CA Drivers License
Meets agency driver eligibility criteria
BLS CPR/First Aid
How you will make a difference:
The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the Quality Assurance Program. The position is responsible for auditing documentation to reconcile with billing and oversees documentation of services by staff to assure conformity with MediCal County other outside agencies and internal standards and policies. QA Coordinator manages all charts with deficiencies by processing them to the appropriate department for correction. QA Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the discharged chart is closed in the correct order and completed. Position oversees the Continuous Quality Assurance program medical records and records all CQI data.
Division/Program Overview:
The Crisis Residential is a shortterm voluntary residential facility designed to help adults aged 18 and older experiencing a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize recover and transition back to the community. Services include therapeutic and mental health services rehabilitation and recovery services (including substance use rehabilitation) prevocational or vocational counseling medication evaluation and support daily exercise and health/wellness education and crisis intervention.
