Job Description
Position Title: Quality Assurance CMM Operator (3rd Shift)
Location: Onsite Troy OH
Schedule: MondayThursday 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Background Check/Drug Screen: Required
A growing aerospace manufacturing facility in Troy OH is urgently seeking a Quality Assurance CMM Operator to join their night shift team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring dimensional accuracy and product quality during offhours production. Youll perform detailed inspections using advanced metrology tools and CMM equipment in a fastpaced but supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities- Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) with PCDMIS software
- Perform 1st piece inprocess and final inspections
- Interpret engineering drawings with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Use inspection tools including OD Micrometers Comparators Pitch Micrometers and Depth Micrometers
- Inspect for and measure circular runout total runout and cylindricity
- Record precise inspection results and maintain documentation
- Work independently while coordinating with day shift QA as needed
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CMM (PCDMIS strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Proficient with precision instruments: OD Mics Pitch Mics Depth Mics Comparators etc.
- Experience inspecting complex components with tight tolerances
- Reliable and selfmotivated with good communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience using Sheffield and Brown & Sharpe CMM machines
- Stable work history with a strong focus on quality and detail
- Ability to thrive in a highoutput manufacturing environment
