As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer and Community Banking you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance build and deliver trusted marketleading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problemsolving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities
- Design develop and implement Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI solutions utilizing advanced Python programming techniques to optimize automation and enhance decisionmaking algorithms.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI technologies into existing architectures employing Python for the development of scalable and robust AI solutions.
- Perform indepth analysis and interpretation of complex highdimensional data sets using Python libraries such as NumPy Pandas and TensorFlow to generate AIdriven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Provide expertlevel technical guidance and strategic direction to support business objectives working closely with technical teams contractors and vendors to ensure alignment with best practices.
- Develop secure efficient and highquality production code employing rigorous code review and debugging processes to maintain code integrity and performance.
- Lead architectural and design decisions that impact product design application functionality and technical operations ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in specialized areas such as machine learning algorithms natural language processing or neural network architectures providing deep technical expertise across the organization.
- Actively contribute to the engineering community by advocating for the adoption of firmwide frameworks tools and best practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Influence peers and project stakeholders to adopt and implement cuttingedge technologies driving innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience. In addition demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services including Lambda ECS and RDS. Experience in designing and deploying cloudnative applications that leverage serverless computing container orchestration and managed database services for optimal performance and costefficiency.
- Proficient in workflow design and business rules management with handson experience using BPM toolsets such as Camunda. Ability to model complex business processes and automate decisionmaking to improve operational efficiency.
- Handson practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable indepth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Practical cloud native experience
- Hold relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty or AWS Certified Developer to demonstrate expertise in cloud technologies and AI integration.
- Continuously pursue professional development and certification opportunities to stay abreast of emerging technologies and maintain cuttingedge skills in AI and cloud computing.
