Position Summary
To serve as shift supervisor over a group of lower level Food Service Specialists and those engaged in activities in a food service operation. Under close instruction and supervision from the Director of Dining Services the incumbent in this position will perform and oversee all cooking duties within the Cafeteria. The incumbent will also supervise lowerlevel Food Service Specialists. In addition the incumbent is expected to be fully knowledgeable about and comply with the policies procedures calendar of events and deadlines of the retail operation as established by the Director of the individual Auxiliary Enterprises section. The incumbent is also expected to protect the interest and/or assets of the cafeteria and thus the State of Louisiana. Serve Safe Certification necessary minimum Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Restaurant Preferred.
