Description

Position: Custodial Manager
Team: Central
Reports to: Director of Operations

Status: Nonexempt 40 hours/week

The Custodial Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily custodial operations of cleaning room setups and routine maintenance tasks of all Hosanna facilities. This position is actively involved in planning and execution of all campus environmental operations including grounds landscape and hardscape to ensure efficient and optimal daily operations.

Requirements
  • Supervise and provide insight in softscape and hardscape working alongside vendors on maintenance programs to include irrigation parking lot maintenance and exterior fountains to present a well maintained and welcoming environment.
  • Work with the cleaning vendor(s) to ensure all support shifts and nightly cleanings are covered and tasks are complete.
  • Assist in maintaining and cleaning of all campuses including both indoor and outdoor spaces. Assist with setup and takedown for programming activities and events.
  • Perform and ensure completion of monthly and annual preventive custodial maintenance at all facilities.
  • Maintain purchasing and inventory protocols research order and monitor delivery of supplies and materials.
  • Supervise and provide oversight to exterior weather service vendor management including snow plowing sidewalk clearing equipment maintenance and inventory of materials. This includes coordinating and scheduling staff and volunteers to assist as needed.
  • Actively participate on the oncall emergency team including schedule rotation and ensuring all safety and security policies are followed.
  • Manage relationships with vendor service providers local government and inspections regulators. This includes ensuring OSHA and safety standards are maintained.
  • Respond to emergency situations to support safety protocols. Follow guidelines and policies including certification of equipment use and building access system.
  • Responsible for recruiting developing equipping encouraging and leading volunteers and/or team of volunteers where appropriate within the ministry.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience

  • Associates Degree or technical degree/technical certification Required
  • 5 years of experience & skill in custodial or maintenance Preferred
  • License include Scissor Lift Boom Lift Fork Lift Preferred

  • Proven results oriented experience with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in support and unity.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision..
  • Ability to collaborate well in crossfunctional teams and projects across the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in working with different personalities and leadership styles.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Normal hours are primarily days with evenings and may include occasional weekends. This includes Christmas Eve and Easter.
  • Extensive standing walking and sitting for extended periods of time. Repetitive keyboard and mouse movements requirements.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions for an extended period of time.
  • Able to set up and take down tables chairs and equipment.
  • Ability to operate various equipment including blowers tractors mowers etc.
  • Extensive physical work including but not limited to twisting bending pulling and lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with no driving restrictions. Able to drive between campuses deliver products pickup products from vendors etc.

A mature faith a personal relationship with Jesus Christ commitment to the Teaching Statement and ministries of Hosanna a signed Hosanna Leadership Covenant and submission to Biblical authority along with membership in the congregation and worship at Hosanna are requirements for all employees.

Salary Description
$20$24/hour depending on qualifications
