The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for a Maintenance Engineer IIto join the team!
Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a$400M renovationand expansion the resort is more stunning than on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and inroom dining.

- The starting hourly rate is $28.57 per hour plus fulltime benefits.
- Shift; Mostly PM shifts weekends and holidays availability required
What will I be doing
As an Engineer II you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including but not limited to guest rooms public space and heartofthehouse areas
- Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair nonfunctioning machinery and/or equipment
- Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including but not limited to carpentry plumbing electrical work painting HVAC work and masonry
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
- Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
