These challenges could involve managing emotions challenging negative thinking and reducing stress and anxiety.

We are looking for a fulltime Controllerpassionate about wholeperson wholefamily mental health care to join our team. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Controller to oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance within a startup environment experience closing books and managing a team. Knowledge and experience in the healthcare sector particularly in mental health care delivery will be highly advantageous. This role requires a team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounting budgeting and financial reporting.
• Manage and lead the accounting team ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial activities.
• Prepare and close monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and implement financial policies procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Manage external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Sage Intacct for financial reporting and analysis.
• Support fundraising activities and investor relations by providing accurate financial information and analysis.
• Monitor and manage cash flow budgeting and forecasting processes.

Qualifications:

• CPA certification is required.
• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role preferably within a startup environment.
• Strong experience in closing books and managing financial statements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Experience working in the healthcare sector; experience in mental health care delivery is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
• Preference for candidates based in the Midwest (Madison Minneapolis Chicago).

The salary range for United States residents is $140k to $180k per year Bonus.
