Stand Togethers Executive Assistant Center of Excellence (EA COE) is seeking a strategic and peoplefocused leader to oversee and develop a highperforming team of administrative professionals.
In this role you spend a portion of your time as an Executive Assistant providing strategic support to at least one leader in addition to leading and mentoring team of administrative professionals fostering professional growth ensuring operational excellence and driving alignment between administrative support and organizational priorities. As a leader you focus will be on talent development team operations and coachinghelping administrative professionals elevate their impact navigate complex priorities and support their leaders with excellence.
How You Will Contribute
Team Leadership. Manage and mentor a team of administrative professionals focusing on talent development and professional growth. Cultivate a collaborative highperforming team environment that applies Stand Togethers management philosophy and encourages entrepreneurial thinking.
Team operations and collaboration. Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to align administrative support with broader business objectives.
EA Support. Provide executive support to one or more leaders which can include stepping in vacancies executive transitions shift in business needs or urgent coverage needs. This may include calendar management travel coordination meeting preparation and complex scheduling.
Take ownership and contribute to team and organizational projects as well as operational improvements as needed.
The role will be based inperson in the Ballston VA office.
What You Will Bring
Proven leadership experience (5 years) with a focus on coaching developing talent and leading highperforming teams.
Ability to assess mentor and grow administrative professionals to increase their impact and elevate executive support.
Strong operational and problemsolving skills with experience streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
Strategic mindset in managing time and priorities both for executives and for the team.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.
EA experience build and maintain a deep understanding of priorities to effectively allocate the leaders time. Prioritize a high volume of inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts for your team. Make judgements on time and recommendations grounded in strategic priorities to ensure smooth daytoday engagements.
Microsoft Office proficient: Word Excel Outlook (including expertise with Outlooks calendar function) and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with expense reporting software such as Concur.
