Description

This position supports the HTM department for all of Mayo Clinic locations including Phoenix Arizona; Jacksonville Florida; Rochester MN and Mayo Clinic Health System. This is a hybrid position and the incumbent must be onsite 50% of the time and live within driving distance of a Mayo Clinic campus.

The Information Security Analyst serves as a liaison between technology and the business including various oversight committees. The Information Security Analyst understands the following: Industry standard information security concepts Organizational Change Management Project Management and Business Analysis. The Information Security Analyst has basic experience and is building skills in: Integrating multiple disciplines (e.g. business / systems process analysis data analysis data informatics risk management regulatory requirements and technology) for strategic and operational planning. Applying problemsolving methods planning techniques continuous improvement project management and analytical tools and methodologies to achieve Mayo goals. Conducting information security assessments. Collaborating with others to address security questions and responding to customer inquiries. Ensuring appropriate treatment of cyber security risk and monitoring compliance to Mayos Information Security policies processes and procedures. Creating supporting and evaluating security prototypes. Administering Information Security processes and tools that enable the organization to operate effectively and efficiently. Creating coordinating conducting and/or evaluating training courses within pertinent subject domain. Drafting policies processes and procedures. Managing a varied workload of projects with multiple priorities. Staying current on information security technology and healthcare trends and institutional changes. Developing interpersonal skills to include presentation negotiation influencing team facilitation and written communications. Effectively managing time. We are seeking a skilled analyst with expertise in reporting and analytical tools largestructured databases and medical/facility device inventory data. The analyst will develop a comprehensive reporting/analytics program including dashboards metrics KPIs and reporting requirements. Excellent communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate should have a desire to learn and implement new automation and AI technologies knowledge of frameworks and methodologies and be innovative and creative.

Responsibilities Include:

Analyzing and Validating Data:

  • Data Collection: Gather accurate and complete data from various sources.
  • Data Cleaning: Correct errors and inconsistencies to improve data quality.
  • Data Analysis: Identify trends and patterns using statistical methods.
  • Data Validation: Verify data accuracy and reliability.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports and present data clearly.

Develop and Manage Team Reporting/Analytics:

  • Design and implement a reporting system to track processes metrics and KPIs.
  • Create dashboards for visual insights.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports.

Utilize Reporting and Analytical Tools:

  • Expertly handle Excel PowerBI Performance Analytics and Tableau.
  • Generate reports to support decisionmaking.

Nuvolo/ServiceNow and Large Database Proficiency:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in ERP and/or other large database platforms.
  • Utilize knowledge of medical/facility device inventory for reporting.

Communication Skills:

  • Provide clear written and verbal reports.
  • Communicate complex data effectively.

Innovation and Creativity:

  • Learn and implement new automation and AI technologies.
  • Apply frameworks and methodologies to enhance processes.
  • Develop innovative solutions for data analysis and reporting.


Qualifications

Masters degree in applicable field and 2 years experience or Bachelors degree in applicable field and 4 years experience. Pertinent fields of study and experience includes (but is not limited to) the following: information security operational analysis process change electronic systems implementation leadership systems analysis and project management with broadbased key enterprise initiatives.

Authorization to work and remain in the United States without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorships now or in the future (for example be a U.S. Citizen national or permanent resident refugee or asylee). Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F1 STEM OPT extension program.
