Radiology Technologist

Position Highlights

• Title: Radiologic Technologist (ARRT NYS Licensed)

• Pay: $33$40 per hour (based on experience)

• Schedule: Fulltime 40 hours/week

  • Shifts: Day or Evening available

  • MondayFriday with potential rotating call and weekend coverage

• Relocation Assistance: Available for qualified candidates

• New Grads Welcome: Recent Radiologic Tech Program graduates encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic studies across multiple modalities using advanced imaging equipment.

• Operate portable radiographic machines as needed in various settings.

• Maintain a high standard of image quality and proper positioning per procedural guidelines.

• Ensure patient and personnel safety through proper radiation protection techniques.

• Administer contrast media with adherence to proper technique; respond appropriately to contrast reactions or emergencies.

• Use PACS CR and RIS systems proficiently to manage images enter data and track performance metrics.

• Participate in weekday weekend and holiday call rotations as required.

• Follow strict infection control standards including Universal Precautions and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an AMAapproved Radiologic Technology program or AAS in Radiologic Technology

• License: New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)

• Certification: ARRT Certification (Required)

• Experience: Completion of a 24month accredited Radiologic Technology program
  (New grads are encouraged to apply)
