Job Description

Position Overview
This position oversees and implements university safety and security policies to create a safe and secure environment for the university community both daytoday and during event operations. This position also plays a key role in establishing and strengthening relationships with oncampus and offcampus stakeholders through providing exemplary customer service. This is an essential position that may be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure. Duties may include: Conduct general security patrol on campus and at events and report emergencies to university city or state officials Assist with Safe Walks extra patrol requests building lockouts and oncall notifications Enforce university alcohol policies Monitor access control check credentials check tickets and enforce clear bag requirements Other duties as assigned

Required Experience
Using computer software and applications including wordprocessing software spreadsheets email and internet Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals Following documented policies and procedures
