Job Description
Fortuna is seeking a highly experienced CMS Developer to support a digital modernization initiative for a publicsector client. This position emphasizes enterpriselevel CMS implementation and management particularly with Sitecore and WordPress.
The role is part of a proposal response and is contingent upon contract award. If awarded the period of performance is expected to be July 2025 through June 2028.
Worksite: Onsite Sacramento CA
Work Schedule: Standard business hours

WHAT YOULL DO:
Lead implementation and ongoing support of enterprise content management systems including Sitecore and WordPress
Collaborate with design content and technical teams to build scalable maintainable CMSbased websites
Customize CMS templates and components to align with client branding and content needs
Provide technical guidance on CMS platform selection configuration and optimization
Ensure crossbrowser and mobile responsiveness
Perform troubleshooting CMS updates and performance tuning
Document CMS architecture deployment standards and best practices
WHAT YOULL BRING:
Required Qualifications:
3 years of handson experience with Sitecore implementations and operations
Sitecore Certified Developer credential
3 years of WordPress development experience including custom themes and plugins
Deep understanding of CMS best practices user permissions and content workflows
Experience integrating CMS platforms with thirdparty tools and APIs
Strong understanding of accessibility SEO and responsive design principles
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting government or publicsector digital platforms
Familiarity with .NET or PHPbased CMS customization
Knowledge of Agile development processes
Strong communication and documentation skills
