Job Description

St. John the Baptist School is a coeducational Catholic PreK through grade 8 school. We have held a legacy in our community for over 130 years. If you seek to join a joy filled engaging teaching team and to engage and educate our beautifully diverse population of learners we are the school for you. The 5th and 6th grade English and Language Arts curriculum includes reading works of New England Historical Fiction Fantasy and Historical Novels. In addition daily assignments of spelling grammar and Latin root words. The teacher in this position is expected to work in cross curriculum collaboration with the 5th and 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher. Responsive classroom and scaffolding pedagogy are a welcomed addition.
