The County of Riversides Temporary Assignment Program (TAP) seeks to filla Temporary Business Process Analyst I CN (Confidential NonExempt) to support the HR Liability Insurance division.
The Temporary Business Process Analyst I CN will provide firstlevel business process support and contribute to developing and maintaining tools and resources. The incumbent will create update and maintain customer correspondence using Microsoft Word and a Correspondence Administration tool assist in developing job aids and procedural documentation for internal and external customers help maintain reference data and organization tables within the claims management solution serve as a point of contact for customers providing bestpractice guidance and recommendations on system usage (with coaching and support) and help manage and update a SharePoint site that houses job aids procedures and customer request logs.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey both technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and effectively experience using Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform experience using SharePoint and Microsoft Teams and strong empathy for customers and a demonstrated ability to understand and deliver on their needs.
The most competitive candidates will possess experience working with General Liability and Workers Compensation in a selfinsured organization familiarity with Riskonnect or Ventiv claims management solutions understanding of Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) curiosity about Managed Risk in public sector organizations and knowledge of JavaScript XML and SQL.

TAP Benefits: OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Troubleshoot provide production support identify problem areas and correct system setup when production errors are identified; work directly with vendors for resolution of underlying system program problems; search corporate web sites for posted resolutions and fixes that could resolve identified problems; coordinate workload to prioritize all jobs.
Coordinate and participate in the design and evaluation of business processes required for the implementation of enterprise systems modules and upgrades; review effect of new components to determine if previously modified processes can be eliminated and/or if new release will also require modification; participate in system testing to ensure that the new release provides the expected results throughout the business cycle.
Review and evaluate existing County business process models to identify potential areas for automation and streamlining; develop recommendations for new or modified processes; test all changes prior to final implementation to ensure appropriate results.
Coordinate with user departments on new/changed local ordinances and labor agreements legislation reporting and regulations; review analyze and test all changes prior to final implementation to ensure appropriate results.
Design implement and maintain system setup tables and parameters to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements; interpret and analyze new or updated regulations to identify needed system changes.
Coordinate and implement system security; approve departmental requests for access to enterprise system; coordinate network security and installation requirements with the Information Technology Department.
May maintain contextsensitive online help reference to reflect the most current structure within the system.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
OPTION I
Two years as a Business Process Specialist with the County of Riverside.
OPTION II
Three years of progressively responsible work which would demonstrate possession of the knowledge and abilities listed below.
Knowledge of: Principles and practices of financial human resources and/or other enterprise functions; project specifications development; application design; application of industry/corporate standards and conventions for systems analysis and quality assurance; installation testing and migration process and techniques; quality and version control processes; use of packaged/offtheshelf and 3rd party application software including office automation tools.
Ability to: Write/modify technical and user documentation; prepare flow process diagrams and other design graphics; use basic principles and practices and functional activities for the maintenance and enhancement of enterprise systems components; gather and analyze data; reason logically draw valid conclusions and make appropriate recommendations; speak and write effectively; read interpret and apply laws rules regulations standards and procedures; establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and gain their cooperation.
