Caregiver/CNA

We are looking for compassionate caregivers CNAs and/or HHAs to join Village Caregivings growing team! We offer a competitive wage scale and a W2 for tax withholding purposes. The right candidate has a cando attitude a friendly demeanor good customer service and the ability to provide many levels of support to our clients in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderlypatients or those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs such as showering bathing dressing and eating

• Companionship

• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments errands walks etc.)

• Plan and prepare meals

• Assist with physical therapy exercise

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that areessential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals including serving and other tasks if necessary

• Use common sense principals

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Timeliness and selfdiscipline

• Availability to meet client needs as requested

• Dependability

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform jobrelated duties

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or inhome care environment (preferred)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Supportive and compassionate

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience as a Caregiver (preferred)

• CNA/SRNA/HHA or completion of a CNA Program (preferred)

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
