Job Description

Job Title: Field Coordinator

Location: Las Vegas NV

Reports To: Field Operations Manager

FLSA Status: NonExempt Hourly

Department: NVE Operations

Summary: The position is based out of the Las Vegas office and plays a key part in achieving client goals and delivering expectations. This is a hybrid role of Field Technician and Field Technical Coordination support. This role will assume all Field Supervisory duties during the Field Supervisors absence (vacation regular schedule day off sick days). This role is primarily in field with minimal in office time except for the time when acting as Field Supervisor on Duty. This would be a consistent TuesdaySaturday schedule with the ability to flex based on supervisory requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Field Technician duties: provide fieldbased support of customer installations and assist with troubleshoot/repair of energy monitoring systems for the NVE Powershift Programs.
  • Assist Field Supervisor with interview and candidate selection
  • Assist Field Supervisor and Lead Technical Support Technician with in field training
  • Provide back up to the Field Supervisor in the oncall rotation on a consistent basis
  • Assist with onsite accident response
  • Assist Field Supervisor with field support tasks as assigned
  • Provide technical and infield support to field personnel as needed
  • Take calls from NVE during afterhours when there are questions or concerns about On Call Technicians
  • Assume the following duties in the Field Supervisors Absence
  • Support call center staff from a technical aspect
  • Monitor technicians daily schedule and assignment status; shared responsibility with Field Supervisor
  • Maintain efficient field activity
  • Monitor creation of after hour dispatches and assign available technician ( ATS)
  • Delegation of emergency repair emails calls and after hour repairs as needed; shared responsibility with Field Supervisor
  • Take calls from NVE during after hours when there are questions or concerns about On Call Technicians
  • Work with team on accurate timesheets submission and approvals
  • Submit feedback for improvements and suggestions; shared responsibility with Field Operations Manager



Requirements

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to ascend/descend ladders scaffolds stairs and work at heights.
  • Recognizes exposure to live circuits and/or operating machinery.
  • Familiarization with electrical and mechanical components and systems.
  • Ability to lift/carry 5075 lbs.
  • Repetitive motion with both hands wrists and fingers.
  • Work in confined spaces such as attics or basements.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work schedules and environments.
  • Work conditions may be indoors and outdoors.
  • Hours include nights and/or weekends and a rotation of 24/7 on call shift.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
  • Must be able to travel by air and car as needed.

Education:

  • Minimum of 2 years of posthigh school college or technical training in electronics electrical or HVAC.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience of field work supporting the NVE Powershift program
  • Experience with work planning/Scheduling in logistics is a plus
  • Experience with dispatching inventory customer service and managing a team
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
