Job Description
Experience Level: Bachelors degree or equivalent lab experience
The Role: NGS Lab Technician
Were hiring an NGS Lab Technician to join our NGS team. This is a junior handson role for someone who wants to be in the lab every day doing highquality repetitive work thats critical to our sequencing pipeline. Were looking for someone who takes pride in precision consistency and being the one who gets it done right every time.
If youre the kind of person who shows up ready to put in the hours who thrives on doing things the right way and who doesnt cut corners we want to talk to you.
Must have skills
Strong pipetting skills with small volumes and multichannel pipettes
Experience with DNA/RNA extraction PCR or similar molecular biology techniques
Comfortable working in 96well plate formats
Very strong attention to detail precision in handling samples and preparing reagents
Clear communicator and team player
Bonus points for
Exposure to NGS workflows (library prep QC sequencing)
Familiarity with Qubit TapeStation centrifuges or thermocyclers
Previous work in highthroughput regulated or qualityfocused lab environments
Interest in biotech and Conceptions mission
