Job Description

The Solutions Developer L1 position within the Solutions Developers team works collaboratively with crossfunctional role based teams to support clients by implementing and maintaining solutions. The Solutions Developer L1 position analyzes user requirements develops generates test plans tests and executes the platform design as well as provides ongoing support and maintenance on assigned platforms. The Solutions Developer L1 position is fast paced and ever changing requiring flexibility selfinitiative and regular management of changing priorities.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Perform with a servicefocused mindset with emphasis on delivering ontime highquality products and services.
  2. Analyze and fully understand project requirements and design to formulate and implement effective and efficient solutions.
  3. Use Zoot Tools and Services to develop and maintain client software in accordance with client specifications capabilities best practices design patterns and microservices.
  4. Perform unit integration and endtoend testing to verify code meets specifications and requirements.
  5. Conduct production environment research monitoring and problem solving in collaboration with Service Desk and other team members to ensure functioning software.
  6. Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.
  7. Develop an understanding of Zoot systems components and dependencies to ensure that project code is fully integrated with other aspects of a platform.
  8. Develop an understanding of how to use Zoot Tools and Services to develop and maintain client software in accordance with client specifications capabilities best practices design patterns and microservices while maintaining a high degree of quality.
  9. Develop an understanding of Zoots distributed system and services as well as transactional flow.
  10. Develop an understanding of Zoot Capabilities and supported solution types in order to support the project team Service Desk and the client.
  11. Know and comply with Zoots Policies and Procedures Code of Business Conduct and Employee Agreement.
  12. Achieve a servicefocused culture with emphasis on delivering ontime highquality products and services to internal and external customers.

Education Training and Experience Requirements
This position requires:
High School Diploma
Bachelor Degree Computer Science Management of Information Systems Finance or an equal combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements
  • All positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees clients vendors and visitors.
  • This position specifically requires a long period of sitting at a computer work station.
Working Conditions
  • In order to optimize team performance the work space for this position is typically a cubicle setting in an open space environment.
Work Hours and Location
  • It is expected that exempt employees and specifically this position regularly and consistently report to work onsite at Zoot headquarters during normal business hours.
  • This position will require travel 0% of the time.
  • Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required within the position.
