Key Responsibilities:
- General maintenance and operation of a mobile belt press focusing on both quality and quantity of production.
- Set up and tear down equipment at customers treatment facilities.
- Maintain clean equipment and work area including shoveling and hosing.
- Abide by regulatory compliance and safety guidelines.
- Operate a tractortrailer truck on site (nonhighway) to stage trailers for loading.
- Operate additional pumps and ancillary equipment on site.
- Make down polymer solution for dewatering process.
- Maintain daily production log.
- Perform other jobrelated duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid state issued drivers license.
- Willing and able to obtain a Class D Wastewater Operators license.
- Work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends as projects demand.
- Ability to travel as work demands.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Basic mathematical skills and tool knowledge.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision.
- Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform job.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to read write and comprehend reports to accurately complete daily assignments.
- Ability to judge the distance between equipment and an object.
- Ability to work in accordance with Company safety policies & procedures OSHA (Occupational andSafety Health Act) requirements as well as all local state and federal laws.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Must be able to sit stand walk bend reach and lift in an outdoor environment 90% of the time.
- Must be able to use hands and fingers kneel crawl talk hear climb and balance.
- Visual requirements include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to manually lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Ability to manually push/move up to 50 pounds with assistance from another employee.
Working Conditions:
- Outdoors in varying adverse weather; low/high temperatures wet and/or high humidity or sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to outdoor elements unpleasant odors small space such as vehicle/equipment cabs exposure to fumes dust or uneven ground.
