JOB TITLE: Part Time BJHS/Marston Recycling and Utility 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (15 minute break)JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs maintenance and cleaning of Marston handles recycling and other utility work as : Reports to the Buildings and Grounds USED: Hand and small power tools; hand and power cleaning equipment; test meters and gauges; alarm system; HVAC equipment; :Inside: 75% Outside: 25%DUTIESDAILY:6:30 and light up Marston and put out flagSweep clean pick up trash in and disinfect bathroomsVacuum entrance hallway and sweep stairs7:30 a.m. to 10:30a.m. (Tuesday and Thursday)Pick up all recyclables at Brown BJHS/Hillside Marston and BHS Tuesday and Thursday.9:00 a.m. Break7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Monday Wednesday and Friday)8:05 a.m. Lock Ramp DoorContinue cleaning:Marston Building as necessaryBJHS/Hillside Sweep stairwells and Pick up RecyclablesSweep and Vacuum Teachers Room and Weight Rooms also pick up garbage and RecyclingAssist Director and other day custodians with projects as needed9:00 a.m. Break(Note: The times indicated are for general guidelines and may vary depending upon the situation .) Over 10 REQUIREMENTS: Asbestos Awareness Certificate TRAINING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: HS diploma or GED preferred. One year of custodial and maintenance experience. Familiarity with and ability to effectively use hand and power equipment and tools. Experience with maintaining electrical plumbing and HVAC equipment in industrial/commercial buildings. Ability to work in environments with different needs and understand and follow orders. Or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates a knowledge of the tasks and functions of the job. Must possess a commercial drivers license CDLB OF OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURES:Floor and bathroom cleaners cleaning agents and solvents heating may be exposed to extremes of heat cold and wet be exposed to bodily fluids such as blood urine feces and CONSIDERATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Must be physically able as job includes lifting and stair climbing. Employee must be able to perform various tasks as required in maintaining school buildings. Employee follows a written or verbal work schedule and is typically able to work at his/her own often entails routine and repetitive tasks that once learned can be executed under general supervision.
