About the Role


Were hiring a Structural Design Engineer on behalf of our client a highly respected structural engineering firm with deep expertise in seismic forensic healthcare education and construction engineering. This role is ideal for a licensed engineer with 35 years of experience in seismic and structural design who thrives in technical problemsolving and project collaboration.



Key Responsibilities


  • Perform structural and seismic calculations for various building types
  • Develop reports calculation packages and design documents
  • Coordinate design models and drawings with BIM/CAD teams
  • Conduct field inspections and document findings
  • Mentor junior engineers and support smaller projects
  • Provide technical consultation to clients and project stakeholders



What Were Looking For


  • 35 years of structural/seismic engineering experience
  • Masters degree in Structural Engineering
  • PE license (California or Washington preferred)
  • Proficiency in structural design software and knowledge of seismic codes
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Professional organization involvement (e.g. SEAOC ASCE EERI) is a plus
