Senior SharePoint Architect and Administrator Digital Enterprise Solutions Inc. (DESI) seeks a Senior SharePoint Architect and Administrator to join our team of qualified diverse professionals in pursuit of a future contract award. ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES: - Architect configure and administer Microsoft 365 Enterprise SharePoint and onpremises environments using enterprise governance models and best practices.
- Integrate SharePoint with ServiceNow ITSM workflows and implement features using outofthebox capabilities where feasible.
- Develop and support custom solutions for Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online Microsoft 365 Enterprise SharePoint and onpremises environments web parts and custom applications.
- Maintain site structure taxonomy and navigation across enterpriselevel SharePoint site collections and subsites.
- Support enterprise usage reporting and usability analysis and develop technical briefings for proposed solutions.
- Implement workflow and automation for SharePoint Lists Outlook Group Distribution Lists and Microsoft Teams (including private channels).
- Provide Microsoft OneDrive for Business support including sync troubleshooting and user data recovery.
- Create eDiscovery Centers manage site quotas and execute data loss prevention (DLP) and Information Rights Management (IRM) configurations.
- Perform upgrades system maintenance feature testing and rollback planning for SharePoint systems and related services.
- Resolve technical issues through service desk support tickets maintain SLAs and provide customer support.
- Provide technical documentation and user guidance.
- Optimize system performance implement architectural refinements and contribute to SharePoint governance and security posture.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position you must meet the education and experience listed below: - Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this position you must minimally meet the knowledge skills and abilities listed below: - Ten (10) years experience with delivery and engineering management and ownership for Microsoft Office 365 based collaboration services to support Teams OneDrive SharePoint and ancillary products including Power Platform.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Enterprise SharePoint Online and onpremises environments.
- Must hold at least one of the following certifications: CASP CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED GCIH or CCSP.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: - Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with NSWCPD programs or Naval Surface Warfare technical environments.
- Experience implementing SharePoint governance in a DoD enterprise setting.
- Strong understanding of DoD RMF compliance frameworks and cybersecurity practices.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint security configurations including Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Rights Management (IRM).
- Demonstrated success supporting collaboration solutions in hybrid (O365/onprem) SharePoint environments.
- Familiarity with eDiscovery retention policies and SharePoint data compliance strategies.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and Microsoft cloud services integration.
- Relevant M365 and/or SharePoint certification(s).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The compensation range is based on industry compensation data and/or position budget and reflects our commitment to transparency and fairness: - The annual base compensation range is$125000 $165000 commensurate with education certifications and experience.
